Our client is a prestigious global law firm with offices across Europe, Asia, and the US. The London office is a key hub for the firm’s international operations, and this is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior accounting role supporting multiple jurisdictions.This newly created role will provide comprehensive support to the Director of Finance, Europe & Asia. This role covers all aspects of tax and management accounting for the firm’s European offices and involves collaboration with global teams on complex financial projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct tax research and ensure compliance with local regulations.Analyse financial data to identify tax implications and opportunities.Prepare VAT calculations and documentation for all European offices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather tax information.Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.Maintain accurate tax records and assist with special projects.Work with the Lead Accountant, Asia on tax return materials for multiple offices.Contribute to Pillar 2 reporting and ad-hoc projects (e.g., opening new offices).Provide management reporting and analysis as directed by the Director of Finance.Person SpecificationStrong background in tax and management accounting.Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across jurisdictions.Detail-oriented, organised and proactive.Important NoticeIt is Career Legal’s policy, as a matter of courtesy, to respond to all applications within three working days.
