The Absolut Group, the brand owner of our global white spirits portfolio, whose Gin brand unit and Business Acceleration team sit in London. We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside. Your new team This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe. Your mission Managing a team of 10 professionals based in the UK, Ireland and the US, the Head of Whiskey Portfolio Finance is responsible for the global performance monitoring of all Whisk(e)y brands (Scotch, Irish and American) managed by the Brand Unit (“BU”) on its international markets, in line with the BU strategic goals and individual Brand guidelines. Key Accountabilities Brand Performance Analysis: Review and analyse the global performance of the BU Whisk(e)y portfolio on international markets. Work closely with Group FP&A team to prepare and distribute management reporting packs to BU management. Actively contribute to the preparation of BU Business Performance steering committee and presentations to Group. Revenue Growth Management: Track and analyse brands' price positioning in markets vs guidelines and KPIs (price index, profitability, ROCE). Manage the allocation process for all Whisk(e)y brands. Long-Term Demand Sales Forecast: Maintain and update the Long-Term Sales Forecasts supporting the supply modelling for all Whisk(e)y brands, working closely with the Operations team. Convert the Long-Term Sales Forecasts into an overall Brand financial ambition as required. Business Partnering with Brand & Business Acceleration Teams: Manage and ensure controls are in place for Central Marketing budgets across all Whisk(e)y brands. Support Whisk(e)y innovation projects, from costing & value creation to forecasts and business cases. Contribute to the preparation of key interactions between the BU and market companies (Brand Summits, IBP & Brand Playbooks releases, ad-hoc business meetings). Build and develop a high-performing team Lead and engage the Whisk(e)y Portfolio Finance teams behind the new BU mission and foster a "one-team" mindset. Encourage collaboration with Group FP&A team and key stakeholders across the Brand Unit to eliminate duplication and maximize team efficiency. Search for opportunities to harmonise and standardise ways of working to create synergies. Requirements/ Capabilities Core Finance technical skills. Financial modelling. Strategic & analytical thinking. Business acumen & commercial understanding. Presentation skills, both written and verbal. Attention to details. Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Stakeholder management. People management: development and coaching across several locations.
