 Brief Description
       
 The Southern Governance, Risk and Assurance (GRAI) team are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Thinking Specialist – Management Systems to lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the regional Business Management System (BMS). This role will act as the regional system administrator and strategic link between Integrated Business Units (IBUs), national teams, and other functions, ensuring the BMS remains fit for purpose and aligned with stakeholder needs. You will be responsible for maintaining ISO certification, supporting integration of management systems, and enabling digital transformation of business processes. Your work will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency, assurance, and stakeholder value across the region.
 About the role (External)
       
 What will you be doing:
- Act as a regional expert in your specialist area, connecting, supporting, and constructively challenging stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
 - Apply systems thinking to solve complex problems and deliver outcomes aligned with regional and national priorities.
 - Collaborate across Integrated Business Units (IBUs), national teams, and other functions to ensure alignment, knowledge sharing, and consistency.
 - Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, building trusted relationships and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
 - Operate with autonomy and initiative, working independently with direction rather than supervision.
 - Lead the continuous improvement and regional deployment of the Business Management System (BMS).
 - Act as the regional system administrator, ensuring the BMS meets stakeholder needs and remains fit for purpose.
 - Serve as the key link between IBUs and the national team for management system alignment and integration.
 - Oversee the maintenance and tactical planning of ISO certification, ensuring compliance, readiness, and integration with business operations.
 - Support digital transformation of management systems and promote user adoption.

 - Experience working in or with large, matrixed organisations.
 - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
 - Strong understanding of ISO management system standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 55001, 44001).
 - Experience in managing or administering digital management systems platforms.
 - Demonstrated ability to align management systems with organisational strategy and operational needs.
 - Knowledge of audit processes, certification requirements, and continual improvement cycles.
 
Relevant Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Business Management, Engineering, Quality, Systems Thinking, Information Systems).
 - Professional certifications or training in one or more of the following:
 - 
           
- ISO Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor (9001, 14001, 45001, 44001, 55001)
 - Chartered Quality Professional (CQI)
 - Systems Thinking or Systems Engineering training
 - PRINCE2, MSP, or APM qualifications
 - Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
 
 
 How to apply (External)
       Salary : £55,596 - £65,966, Plus an Inner London allowance of £3,270 per annum, pro/rata and many more benefits. Salary dependent on skills and experience of the successful candidate.
 
 The role is based in London Puddle Dock, hybrid working with minimum 3 days in the office. It will require 60% travel across the Network Rail Southern region.
