- As a Systems Engineer, you will provide high-level technical support and system management across diverse client environments. You will troubleshoot complex workstation, server, and network issues, liaise closely with end-users, and ensure smooth IT operations. This role offers the opportunity to develop deep technical expertise, work collaboratively across teams, and contribute to scalable IT solutions that enhance business productivity. You will handle escalations from technical support, deliver proactive guidance, and implement best practices while maintaining excellent communication with clients. Accountabilities
- · Provide advanced remote support and troubleshooting for diverse client environments, including workstations, servers, and networks.
- · Take ownership of escalation tickets from Technical Support Engineers, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- · Analyze unfamiliar client systems and document environments to identify optimal solutions.
- · Consult with clients on applications, IT best practices, and process improvements.
- · Monitor service boards, prioritize escalated tasks, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- · Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- · Maintain high service quality while adhering to standard operating procedures.
- · Bachelor’s degree, technical qualification, or equivalent work experience.
- · 4–6+ years of experience in desktop, server, or IT systems support.
- · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Server, Workstation Technologies, Office 365, and Azure.
- · Experience troubleshooting network configurations, hardware, and software issues.
- · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
- · Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.
- · Availability for occasional after-hours support or on-call rotations.
- · Preferred: VMWare experience, CompTIA A+/Network+, MS-900, AZ-900, MS-102 certifications.
