  • About the Role
  • The Systems Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Resident Services Workwear Hub’s operations This position is responsible supporting the successful provision of PPE and Workwear for our Frontline services within Resident Services. This will involve working with the Team leader to develop and maintain the robust stock management system (Winman) and compliance with NCC finance management frameworks.
  • The role also involves promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, key within a team with 60% of the team identified as supported colleagues.
  • You will be expected to demonstrate collaboration, working effectively with colleagues across the Council. PC hardware, and office applications are essential, along with at least three years’ experience with NCC systems).
  • This is a hands-on role with no direct staff supervision, but it requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to upholding the Council’s standards and values.
  • About You
  • The ideal candidate will have:·
  • Good technical skills in office applications, with the ability to support and advise colleagues on basic ICT matters, especially Winman systems.
  • Evidence of skill with Nottingham City Council systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to provide effective guidance and training to colleagues.
  • A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to suggest and implement improvements.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, actively promoting these values in all aspects of work.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility for data quality, and information security.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams, building positive working relationships and supporting organisational goals.
  • Personal accountability for professional development and a drive to deliver against challenging objectives.
  • This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
