Neway International are seeking a Swap Out Controller (Grade 4) to join our client based with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.

Location: Vision Products, Pontyclun Hours: 37 per week (08:00–16:00)
Start Date: 1 December 2025
End Date: 1 February 2026
Pay Rates: £12.84 PAYE / £16.80 Umbrella

About the Client
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council’s Vision Products team provides assistive technology services to residents. The department is currently undertaking a major equipment swap‑out programme, upgrading analogue devices to digital systems to ensure continued support and safety for service users.

The Role
The Swap Out Controller will play a key role in delivering this programme, working directly with residents to replace outdated equipment with new digital devices. This is a customer‑focused role requiring clear communication, organisation, and the ability to follow processes accurately. Training will be provided for the technical aspects of the installation.

Key Responsibilities
Swap out analogue home care devices for digital equipment

Demonstrate new devices to residents and ensure they understand usage

Follow instructions and processes to maintain service standards

Work flexibly as part of a team to meet workload demands

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with DBS and safeguarding requirements

Candidate Requirements
Full driving licence and access to own vehicle

Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new systems

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexible approach to tasks and customer‑focused attitude

DBS clearance required
