Are you ready to make a meaningful impact within a growing organisation? GC Doors is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Surveyor & Engineer (Windows and Doors) to join our team.

In this role, you will:

▪️ Conduct detailed surveys of all window and door types, including casement, tilt-and-turn, aluminium sliding, bi-fold, timber, uPVC, and composite.

▪️ Repair and replace mechanisms such as locking systems, hinges, handles, and glazing beads.

▪️ Diagnose and resolve faults—from realigning doors and replacing failed glazing units to resealing draughty frames.

▪️ Install complex systems such as multi-point locking composite doors, tilt-and-turn windows, and bi-fold doors.

▪️ Deliver exceptional workmanship and customer service, ensuring every project meets the highest standards.

▫️ 3–5 years’ experience surveying, installing, and repairing windows and doors across multiple materials.
▫️NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fenestration Installation (or equivalent experience).
▫️ Proven hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving a wide range of faults.
▫️ Full UK driving licence and own hand and power tools.

▫️Fabrication knowledge and experience.
▫️Access to a small van (fuel expenses covered and quarterly maintenance contribution).
▫️CSCS Card, PASMA/IPAF certification, or knowledge of leading suppliers in the sector.


▪️Conduct site surveys and provide clear technical diagnostics.
▪️Perform repairs and maintenance (approx. 75%) and installations (approx. 25%).
▪️Maintain accurate records of work completed.
▪️Deliver outstanding customer service, including with vulnerable customers.
▪️Follow health and safety regulations, completing risk assessments as required.
▪️Ensure tools and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
▪️Work flexibly across multiple sites as required.
