We are currently working in partnership with a charity based in South London, who are recruiting for a Support Worker on a temporary contract. The position is due to start as soon as next week. The rate of pay is £22.97 via an umbrella company. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in supported housing understanding the range of approaches needed towards those struggling with mental health and complex needs. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Contributing to effective day-to-day service deliveryConducting risk assessments, needs assessments and move-on plans within the serviceUtilising computer software to log case notesLiaising with external agencies and councils to ensure clients are receving appropriate supportEnsuring environment is safe, healthy and reflective of the organisations ethosConducting outcome-focused work and fostering a culture of high performance Experience required: Working with clients in a trauma-informed wayUsing motivational interview techniques to produce and approach referrals Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Identifying and dealing with complex needsEmpathetic Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon - FriRequired for rolling weekends (1 Saturday or Sunday a month) Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
