As a Support Worker, you’ll offer a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people feel heard, supported, and respected. You’ll be there to guide them through everyday life – whether that’s cooking dinner, handling a challenge calmly, or simply being a reliable presence.Duties:Build positive, trusting relationships with young residentsSupport of the residents with daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal careMaintain clear and accurate records of observations, incidents, and support providedWork independently during lone shifts while remaining connected to a wider teamRespond calmly and appropriately to distress or challenging behaviourUphold safeguarding policies and follow protocols to maintain a safe environmentCarry out basic property checks and ensure the home is safe and welcomingYour experience:Experience working with people in residential care, supported living, youth work, or similarEmotionally resilient and calm under pressureStrong interpersonal and communication skillsConfident working alone and managing responsibilitiesA clear understanding of safeguarding and professional boundariesPractical knowledge of home safety and routines (training provided)Willingness to work flexibly – including evenings, weekends, and sleep-insA clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)Due to the n
