We have an exciting opportunity for a confident, and outgoing support workers to support a young adult with Cerebral Palsy. Please note we don’t offer sponsorship, and candidates must have a right to work in the UK Key Job Role Information Role –Support workers Location- Flintshire Salary - £14.29 per hour (inclusive of holiday entitlement) Shifts - Our shifts are 07:30 am – 10:00 pm with one staff sleeping over and finishing the next morning Expected hours – 24 – 48 per week Key Role essentials and responsibilities – - Full UK drivers’ licence - Competent verbal and written English Meet the person you’ll be supporting: What challenges do I have? I have athetoid cerebral palsy, I am in a wheelchair and non-verbal. I use eye gaze to communicate, and I have a ceiling track hoist in my home. I require my staff to be patient with me as there can be a time delay in my communication. I also need support at mealtimes and with my personal careWhat activities do I like to do? I have been attending college and enjoy online gaming; I am looking to complete a course in September which would be face to face and I would require my support staff to attend with me.How would I describe myself? I am funny and confident and love to have a laughWhat are some of my long-term goals? I am looking to progress in college My team How many people support me at one time?
