Job Title - TLC Support Worker
Pay Rate - £14 PH
Location: Inverness
Are you a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled individual looking for a rewarding role supporting older people? CrossReach is seeking a motivated Care Worker to join our dedicated, multi-disciplinary team.
The Role: What You'll Do
As a Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our service users. You will report directly to the Service Manager.

- Key Worker Responsibilities: Acting as a key worker for designated service users, which involves compiling, monitoring, and reviewing care plans in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
- Direct Personal Care: Assisting service users with personal and intimate care, as well as ensuring they can access and use necessary aids and personal equipment.
- Health & Wellness: Promoting both mental and physical activity as detailed in individual care plans. You will also assist with monitoring and reviewing nutritional needs.
- Liaison & Reporting: Working closely with appropriate health professionals during times of illness or at the end of life. You will be responsible for reading and writing reports in line with CrossReach policy and SSSC codes of conduct.
- Environment & Belongings: Maintaining the service user's physical environment and ensuring their clothing and effects are well-maintained and personalised.
- General Duties: Answering emergency bells, the door, and the telephone professionally, and greeting visitors.
- Teamwork: Participating in staff and service users meetings and working on a rota basis that includes weekend and evening work.
- Christian Ethos: Having respect for all aspects of Christian worship and facilitating service users to attend Christian worship (or worship of choice as required by the role).
Qualifications
- Ideally, you will possess an SVQ 3 in Social Care.
- If you do not have an SVQ 3, you must be prepared to achieve this qualification within a specified period of time.
Experience & Skills
- Basic computer literacy skills are essential, including the use of Microsoft Office and the internet, for completing mandatory e-learning courses.
- The ability to comply with all Health and Safety requirements and financial procedures.
- A commitment to undertaking necessary training to fulfil the requirements of the role.
