Essential Requirement:
• flexibility to work on a rotational rota pattern covering Monday – Sunday each week across shifts patterns which include early shifts, day shifts, late shifts, sleep-in , wake in and weekends.
• Resilience and adaptability are key as this role involves lone working either with an individual or a small group, as well as working as part of the wider Care team.
• A genuine desire to support and improve lives of others

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting services users with bathing, grooming and getting dressed
• Encouraging and supporting on tasks within their own home including household chores
• Supporting and encouraging them to plan and access their social life, activities, and engagements within the local community and beyond
• Providing mental and emotional support
• Organising, supporting and encouraging suitable recreational activities for service users
• Collaborating with other health care and social care professionals to provide the best possible care to service users
• Prompt the taking of medication or administer medication, including performing health checks.
• Flagging up any concerns or potential for concern that you may impact service user or the service provision.
• Supporting service users with meal planning, shopping, preparing, and cooking nutritious meals
. Supporting service users within a supported living service placement setting.
