This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at our secondary specialist provision Bluebell House which is sited within the grounds of Bannockburn High School. Bluebell House currently meets the needs of autistic young people and those young people with more complex additional support needs. We are seeking to appoint an Support for Learning Assistant (SLA) who will work for 27.5 hours per week during term-time to cover a Maternity Leave of Absence.

The successful candidate will have experience in supporting children and young people. Knowledge of autism and appropriate support strategies is desirable. The successful candidate will be kind, flexible, supportive, understanding and able to listen and respond appropriately to young people. They will be a valued part of a team, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to provide an appropriate environment, learning and support to meet the holistic needs of the young people.
