Role: Supply Chain and Demand Specialist

Location: Maidenhead

Salary: £48,000 per annum

Contract Type: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

Are you looking to take the next step in your supply chain career within a fast-paced, dynamic environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading diagnostics business as a Supply Chain and Demand Specialist, supporting operations within a major UK toxicology division.

In this role, you will support a wide range of supply chain activities, from demand and supply planning to managing relationships with third-party manufacturers and service providers. You will also contribute to process improvements and project management initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse sales history and collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to develop accurate demand plans.

• Monitor and update demand forecasts in response to market changes and new product introductions.

• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, resolving any logistics or customs issues.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and manage change controls.

• Provide general supply chain support, assisting with projects and process development as needed.

About You

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience).

• Strong background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Operations-ideally within the medical device or diagnostics sector.

• Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAGE, SAP).

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across all levels of the business.

• Confident in negotiating with suppliers and collaborating cross-functionally.

• Full UK driving licence required.
