UHI Moray are seeking to appoint suitably experienced individuals to their supply bank for Nursery Support Worker. As part of our commitment to widening access to education and training, UHI Moray provides a Nursery facility for children between 6 weeks and 5 years of age. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, the successful candidates will assist in planning Nursery sessions and will support the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of individual children.

Nursery Support Worker should be working towards or be willing to work towards a recognised qualification for registration with the SSSC.

The successful candidates will have knowledge of key aspects of the early year’s curriculum and of early childhood development and be enthusiastic and highly motivated in promoting child led activities and learning experiences. Candidates should be registered or be willing to become registered with the SSSC. Experience of working with young children and babies in a Nursery environment is desirable but not essential for this post.
