About

Are you as passionate about Basque cheesecake as we are? We started La Maritxu just two years ago, baking these delectable treats right from our home kitchen. The overwhelming love and support from our community led us to open our shop in November 2023.

In just a few months since our shop's inauguration, we witnessed an incredible surge in demand and interest. As a testament to the exceptional quality and flavour of our Basque cheesecakes, our customers have become an integral part of our journey.

At La Maritxu, we take pride in upholding the values that have been with us from the beginning. Chief among them is our unwavering commitment to taking care of our customers. As we grow, we're looking for someone with strong leadership and a customer-first mindset to help guide our team through this exciting chapter.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment
  • Oversee opening/closing procedures
  • Communicate effectively with management about shift performance and staffing needs
  • Help train new staff and support ongoing development of the team

  • Prior experience in hospitality or food service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
