Randstad has an opportunity available for a Study Supervisor with Administrative duties with the education sector.
The post holder will be responsible for supervising classes of pupils (Years 8-12) during periods of teacher absences and sixth form overflow study classes. A key element of the role will be creating a positive environment for academic work alongside carrying out significant administrative duties.

- Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 - 4:30

Requirements
- Level 5 or above qualification is highly desirable
- 2 years experience in a similar role would be high advantageous
- Good level of IT Literacy including MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience of working in post-primary education is desirable
- Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, organisational skills and supervisory skills
- The ability to work well with people at all levels and establish positive relationships
- Must be a well-organised, methodical and accurate person
- Must demonstrate evidence of treating information in a confidential manner
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work
Responsibilities
- To supervise pupil classes during teacher absences, maintaining good order and a quiet academic environment
- To allocate designated work to pupils as required
- To maintain a register of attendance using the school's information management system
- To communicate with appropriate teaching staff regarding any pupil issues during cover periods
- To act as a member of the first aid team, dealing with pupil illnesses and notifying parents as required
- To enter information on pupil illnesses/incidents in Medical Tracker and ensure medical records are up to date
- To operate the computerised school information management system, updating pupil and staff records
- To liaise with external agencies as required, e.g. school health visits
- To carry out general administrative duties as required
