Student Service Advisor

ROLE DESCRIPTION

An opportunity has arisen for a Student Services Advisor to join the Student Services Advisor Team within the Student Services Admissions Department, on a full-time permanent basis, working 37 hours per week across Monday to Friday.

The work involves delivering high quality customer service across a range of different activities including providing impartial information, advice and guidance to prospective and existing customers via the Student Services visitor Centre and Reception, telephone enquiries service and email.

As part of the Student Services Advisor Team, the post holder will be responsible for the administration of the College's centralised FE course application and enquiries systems, therefore a methodical approach to work, along with excellent data entry skills, strong attention to detail and a knowledge of customer records/CRM systems is essential.

Much of the work is targeted and can be intensive and pressurised. Consequently, the successful applicant will need well-developed interpersonal, IT and organisational skills and be able to work under pressure, communicating well with all colleagues and customers.

An enthusiastic approach to work with a 'can do' attitude, with the ability to work under your own initiative is essential. Flexibility is also key, as there will be some evening and weekend work required for recruitment events at the main campus and at our satellite centres.
