- We are currently looking for Student Digital Leaders to join our team, as a Student Digital Leader you’ll be offered the chance to get involved in digital projects across the University. You can chose those which interest you the most and get paid for some part-time work alongside your studies.
- As a Student Digital Leader you can put yourself forward for projects that fit around you – your interests, your aspirations and your availability.
- Right now we’re on the lookout for enthusiastic students to support our Digital Capabilities Project — a key initiative to help students and staff build confidence with digital tools and platforms. You’ll be part of a vibrant team helping to shape the future of digital at the University.

- Student Digital Leader Grade 3
Under instruction and following appropriate training
- Understand and accurately communicate straightforward information.
- Occasionally communicate information which requires explaining or adapting to ensure it is understood verbally or in writing. This information may be delivered via digital (including social media & digital signage), print or other medium
- Work as part of a team to increase use and engagement with digital technologies at the University
- Work as part of a team to support staff, students, and visitors with the use of digital technologies at the University
- Carry out user acceptance testing of digital systems
- As part of a team, generate ideas and design campaigns for social media which will engage the student population
- To provide valuable student input into systems design
- As part of a team, contribute to running small group face to face digital training sessions
- A positive attitude to problem solving, learning to overcome and work around inevitable problems in the rapidly growing digital space
- To act as a responsible, positive role model to external visitors, stakeholders, prospective students and young people
- To undertake any necessary training to help facilitate events/activities
- Undertake training including Health and Safety, apply agreed procedures and report any concerns
- Any other reasonable duties that may be allocated from time to time commensurate with the grading of the post
