What We Are Looking For We seek an expert with deep experience in one or more of the following: • Live video streaming architectures • Preferable MediaMTX / SRS / GStreamer / WebRTC servers • Transcoding pipelines (FFmpeg, ABR ladders, HLS/LL-HLS) • CDN optimisation for emerging markets • Camera input ingest and time sync • High availability, low latency video delivery • Scalable event streaming 3. Required Deliverables (Scope for Quote) Please propose pricing for the following four phases, which together form the reduced scope for our MVP1. ________________________________________ PHASE 1 – Streaming Architecture Blueprint Expected Output: Architecture diagrams + technical specification Estimated Effort: 1–2 weeks (depending on your estimation) Deliverables: • End-to-end architecture for: o MediaMTX configuration structure o RTMP/WHIP/WebRTC ingest strategy o Stream-key authentication & security o Origin server architecture o LL-HLS/HLS strategy o CDN configuration (Africa-specific) o Recording → storage → VOD processing pipeline o camera timestamp sync strategy o Resilience, failover, and scaling • Mobile ingest bitrate recommendations for African networks • Recommendations for infrastructure sizing (for 2,000 events/month) ________________________________________ PHASE 2 – MediaMTX Configuration Package Expected Output: Production-ready configs + integration docs Estimated Effort: Typically 2–5 days Deliverables: • MediaMTX configuration (optimized for: multi-angle ingest, low latency, Africa mobile) • RTMP/WHIP/WebRTC ingest configuration • Token-secured stream keys + service-to-service authentication • Multi-angle output mapping + origin → CDN handoff • LL-HLS playlist model • Recording rules (per angle / per event) • Storage integration (Cloudflare R2 / S3) • API integration details (backend engineers will implement endpoints) ________________________________________ PHASE 3 – VOD Processing Pipeline Setup (Optional) Expected Output: FFmpeg presets + workflow outline Estimated Effort: 2–3 days Deliverables: • ABR ladder profiles (360p/480p/720p @ African network constraints) • FFmpeg command sets for VOD generation • Folder structure + storage rules • Workflow design for: raw recording → job queue → transcoding → storage → VOD availability • Failure-handling + retry rules ________________________________________ PHASE 4 – Pre-Go-Live Technical Audit Expected Output: Written review + optimisation checklist Estimated Effort: 1–2 days Deliverables: • Review of our team’s implementation • Load-testing strategy • Final tuning recommendations (latency, bitrate, caching, stability) • Go-live readiness assessment ________________________________________ 4.
