Interim Strategic Property Surveyor Based in London, hybrid working Length: 3 months initially IR35 status: Inside We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Strategic Property Surveyor to join the Corporate Property Team. Reporting to the Senior Asset Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Council’s Corporate Property Strategy, leading major projects, and providing expert property advice across all departments. Key Responsibilities: Lead corporate property projects and support major Council programmesDeliver a comprehensive asset review of all Council properties and develop asset plansMonitor asset performance and report against KPIsManage a range of property transactions arising from the asset review programmeDevelop and implement Corporate Property Strategies to enhance portfolio performanceContribute property input to wider Council initiatives such as regeneration, public health, and housingManage and oversee external property consultants when requiredPrepare reports and briefings for Members, Committees, Cabinet, and Full CouncilProject manage staff and ensure successful delivery of work programmesWork collaboratively across directorates to meet organisational property needs Skills, experience and knowledge required: Strong experience preparing and presenting high-level reports and strategiesExcellent project management and negotiation skills, with experience working with senior stakeholdersSolid knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law and estates managementChartered Surveyor status (MRICS or FRICS)Experience delivering asset review programmes and leading major projects, ideally in local government To apply for this role or to find out about other jobs, p
