We are an independent publishing house dedicated to creating books and exhibitions that bring philosophy, art, photography, and ideas to wider audiences. We are seeking a Strategic Operations Assistant to work closely with the founder and play a central role in running and expanding the company. This is much more than a support role. From the start, you’ll be directly involved in coordinating projects, managing timelines, and keeping the moving parts of the business aligned. One week you might be organising photoshoot logistics or exhibition schedule, the next you could be helping to map out a marketing campaign or researching new opportunities for distribution and growth. You’ll also be part of our efforts to build partnerships with bookshops, cultural institutions, and creative collaborators. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organised, proactive, and eager to take ownership. You should enjoy bringing structure to creative projects, balancing detail with big-picture thinking. An interest in publishing, books, or visual culture is important, and experience in business, marketing, or project management would be a strong advantage. Over time, the role will grow to include managing interns and collaborators, with a clear path to greater responsibility as the company develops.
