  • We’re looking for a Strategic Lead, Customer Insights to spearhead two flagship initiatives that will redefine how we engage with and learn from our clients: the Client Advisory Board (CAB) and the Independent Expert Network (IEN).
  • This high-impact role will place you at the heart of Mintel’s transformation into a truly client-centric organization—bringing external perspectives directly into our strategic decision-making and helping us evolve in step with our clients' needs.
  • What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll lead the development, execution, and growth of two key programs

1. Client Advisory Board (CAB)

  • Design and manage CABs with senior stakeholders from Mintel’s Strategic Partner Accounts.
  • Facilitate high-value strategic conversations and co-creation forums that shape our product, content, and service direction.
  • Ensure outputs directly influence Mintel’s commercial and marketing strategies.

2. Independent Expert Network (IEN)

  • Launch and scale a global network of external subject matter experts (across economics, technology, climate, culture, etc.).
  • Oversee expert recruitment, engagement, and contributions to content and thought leadership.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure insights drive relevance, innovation, and impact.
  • And Beyond...
  • Explore and develop additional client engagement panels across other segments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed insights into decision-making.
  • Measure and communicate the impact of CAB and IEN on retention, innovation, and brand reach.
  • Represent Mintel with senior clients and experts—international travel included.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • 8–10+ years of experience in Client Experience, Strategy, Research, or Insights, ideally in B2B or professional services.
  • Proven success leading advisory boards, client research programs, or expert networks.
  • A confident relationship-builder, skilled in engaging C-suite clients and external thought leaders.
  • Strong strategic facilitator who can challenge assumptions and translate insights into action.
  • Cross-functional collaborator, experienced in driving alignment and clarity in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial, and not afraid to build something from the ground up.
  • Skilled at turning diverse data into actionable themes and influencing internal decision-making.
  • How Success Will Be Measured
  • Client Engagement: Sustained participation in CAB and IEN with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Revenue Growth: +10% increase in spend from CAB participants.
  • Client Retention: +1% lift among Core Accounts by addressing unmet needs faster.
  • Innovation: Increased client interaction driving smarter, faster development.
  • Thought Leadership & Brand Reach: +20% increase in visibility and engagement across channels.
