Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data management platforms and software-defined storage solutions.
- Collaborate in the full product lifecycle — from planning and design to coding, testing, and release.
- Build and enhance REST APIs and CLIs for managing storage and computation resources.
- Integrate authentication and authorization systems with identity providers such as Okta.
- Develop solutions for distributed systems, including containerized services, databases, and data pipelines.
- Apply deep technical knowledge of Linux networking, filesystems, and storage protocols.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development tools, infrastructure, and testing practices.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure high system reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience in Go, Python, or C++, ideally in distributed or storage systems.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and identity management systems.
- Experience with key/value and timeseries databases, containers, and microservices architecture.
- Advanced Linux expertise, including networking and performance optimization.
- Solid conceptual knowledge of file, block, and object storage technologies.
- Proven ability to deliver features independently and in collaboration with globally distributed teams.
- Experience developing and testing RESTful APIs for large-scale infrastructure.
- Bonus: Familiarity with IPMI, Redfish, or hardware management interfaces.
