- Our organization is in hyper-growth mode, with 2026 poised to be an outstanding year! We are recruiting for two Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialists. One focused on the IN/IL region and one on the S.E. region of the United States. Construction or related experience is strongly desired.
- As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting our Infrastructure Construction sector (Heavy Civil, Roadways, Bridges, Environmental Remediation), you will collaborate with company leaders to forecast and meet our workforce needs. Your primary focus will be sourcing and recruiting top talent for current and future roles. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to change management and develop our new MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure Segment strategy.

- In this full-cycle role, agility in your recruitment approach is crucial. We have a variety of positions to fill, including schedulers, project controls staff, project managers, estimators, superintendents, construction managers, administrative support staff, and construction operations leaders.

- Location & Travel Details: This is a remote position based anywhere in the continental United States (Preference given to candidates in the Midwest or Southeast Region of the US, Central or Eastern time zones). Must be able to work within regular business hours Monday-Friday between 7am-6pm of the applicable time zone. We offer all IT equipment, including a work cell phone or cell phone reimbursement.

- Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and prospective talent to develop relationships as a true Talent Acquisition Business Partner; guide and coach managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and applicants are assessed against appropriate criteria, and to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process
- Evaluate hiring and interview processes and techniques, system improvements, and identify training opportunities where applicable
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their business and recruitment needs, including long-term talent pipeline needs, and fill their open positions in a timely manner
- Responsible for full life cycle recruiting process for identified roles across the organization for exempt and non-exempt positions
- Ensure hiring plans provide equal opportunities to all candidates (internal and external)
- Manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing candidate, qualifications to negotiating offers and managing pre-employment requirements and onboarding
- Effectively utilize and maintain all pertinent applicant and interview documentation and data in applicant tracking system
- Develop recruitment strategies to include internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, campaigns, internal transfers, and other channels to attract a diverse pool of candidates utilizing the most cost-effective methods and techniques to meet staffing levels
- Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects
- Assist in meeting affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity recruitment goals

- Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location

- Qualifications
Education and Work Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years recruiting experience required with 3+ years within construction preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- AIRS Certifications preferred
- Ability to travel up to 10%, for career fair and other recruiting efforts may be required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Ability to develop and maintain expertise and practical working knowledge EEO and OFCCP requirements as applied in organizational sourcing
- Ability to source resumes from multiple sources and conduct internet research preferred
- Experience with iCIMS is a plus
- Strong customer focus and effective use of a consultative approach with internal clients
- Ability to coach/advise employees and management through sensitive HR issues to resolve conflicts and seek workable solutions
- Passion for improving the customer experience for hiring managers, candidates, and new hires
- Demonstrated ability to interface with senior-level executives, hiring managers, and candidates
- Capable of handling extremely confidential and sensitive information
- Skilled at developing and leveraging consultative recruitment strategies
- Ability to interpret and apply employment laws, rules, regulations, and policies
- Skilled at multitasking, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills (including MS Office/Word/Outlook) and advanced knowledge and skill with web-based software and social media platforms
