Sports Coach – Cover Supervisor OpportunityAbout the Role and Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Sports Coach / Cover Supervisor working with TailorEDucation, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of secondary school pupils. This exciting position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in delivering sports or physical education who are looking to take their first step into a classroom-based role.You will supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, manage classroom behaviour, and deliver pre-prepared learning activities across a range of subjects. Your experience in coaching and motivating young people will be invaluable in maintaining positive learning environments and engaging students in their education.Key responsibilities include:Supervising classes during teacher absencesManaging pupil behaviour and ensuring a positive, safe learning atmosphereDelivering pre-set lesson materials and activitiesEncouraging participation and teamwork, drawing on your coaching experienceSupporting pupils’ wellbeing, motivation, and confidence both in and outside the classroomAbout the School/SettingTailorEDucation works in partnership with a wide range of secondary schools across Kent and Medway.
