Sport Development Officer Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Location: Manchester Hours: 37.5 per week Our client is a progressive higher education institution that does things differently. They're bold, brave, and inclusive, and they're looking for a Sport Development Officer who shares their passion for sport, wellbeing, and student experience. About the Role: As a key member of their sports team, you'll be at the heart of student sport and physical activity.You'll lead on the coordination of their sports clubs, BUCS fixtures, and wellbeing initiatives, while supporting students to thrive in a vibrant, inclusive sporting environment.You'll be the go-to person for student sport queries, manage club affiliations, and work closely with student committees to deliver safe, engaging and competitive sport experiences.You'll also drive their social media presence and collaborate across departments to deliver exciting events and campaigns. What You'll Be Doing: Be the first point of contact for student sport and physical activity enquiries.Coordinate BUCS fixtures, travel, officials, and results submissions.Support student sports clubs with governance, training, and development.Maintain relationships with external venues and ensure risk assessments are in place.Lead their sports social media channels with support from student media officers.Plan and deliver inclusive campaigns and events to boost participation.Collaborate with Student Life and Marketing teams to promote sport and wellbeing.Represent the organisation at BUCS meetings and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations.Administration tasks such
