• Providing tailored support to students with special educational needs.

• Assisting students with coursework and emotional well-being.

• Creating a supportive learning environment with teachers and other professionals.

• Maintaining records of student progress and behaviour.

• Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).

• Supporting students in achieving their learning goals and accessing the curriculum.

• Implementing strategies to manage and promote positive behaviour.

Requirements

You're the ideal candidate if you have:

• A minimum of 6 months of experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school.

• A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

• The legal right to work in the UK.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN.

• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Experience with a range of SEN needs is a plus.

• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures is a plus.

• A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
