Key Responsibilities

• Design and Deliver: Craft and teach engaging English lessons specifically adapted for students with diverse SEN requirements.
• Curriculum Adaptation: Effectively utilise frameworks such as P Scales to adapt curriculum content, ensuring individual student needs are met.
• Positive Classroom Culture: Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere where every student can thrive.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Teacher, SEN Coordinator, and a dedicated team of educators and support staff to provide holistic student support.
• Care: Assist with personal care as may be required.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience: Demonstrable experience working with SEN students within a UK school environment is essential.
• Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one quickly.
