Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and learning plans for students with diverse SEN needs.
• Adapt and differentiate curriculum and teaching methods to meet the specific learning styles and requirements of each student.
• Utilize a range of effective teaching strategies and resources to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals, including therapists and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.
• Assess student progress regularly, providing detailed feedback to students and their families.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and respected.

What We're Looking For

• A qualified and experienced Teacher with a passion for special education.
• QTS is desirable, but not essential.
• A deep understanding of various learning difficulties and effective intervention strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and lesson planning.
