Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN in the classroom and during activities.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual student needs.
- Help create a supportive and encouraging learning environment, ensuring students feel safe and included.
- Implement specific support strategies outlined in students' Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and record student progress and communicate observations to the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and class teacher.
- Support students with their social and emotional development, helping them to build friendships and manage their feelings.
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required.

- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A good understanding of different learning difficulties and support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- The ability to be flexible, resilient, and proactive.
- A willingness to undertake professional development and training.
