Due to continued expansion and increased demand, we are recruiting an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor (Health & Welfare) to join our specialist team at an exciting stage of growth.This role offers meaningful legal work, clear progression, and long-term career development within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.The OpportunityThis is a varied and intellectually stimulating role within a specialist Court of Protection (Health & Welfare) team. You will manage your own caseload of complex matters, supported by experienced colleagues and clear development pathways.Key responsibilities include:Managing a Court of Protection (Health & Welfare) caseloadApplications under s.16 and s.21A Mental Capacity Act 2005Handling deputyship matters, LPAs and DoLS casesRegular liaison with the Official SolicitorManaging Legal Aid funded cases, including CCMSDrafting applications, witness statements and court documentationSupporting and mentoring junior team membersContributing to the growth and development of the departmentAbout YouYou will ideally have:Qualification as a Solicitor (England & Wales)1+ years PQE in Court of Protection (Health & Welfare) workStrong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005Experience managing your own caseloadLegal Aid and CCMS experience (preferred)Excellent drafting, advocacy and client communication skillsA compassionate, professional and proactive approachStrong IT skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)What We OfferAbove-market salary with an attractive bonus structureHybrid and flexible working (pa
