Solar Advisor Job Title: Solar Advisor Location: Edinburgh (2 days a week at our office) Salary: £26,208 per annum Hours: Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week Sponsorship: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. We're looking for a customer-focused Solar Advisor to support our customers throughout their solar journey—helping them make informed, sustainable choices while providing expert guidance and a seamless experience from initial contact through to installation. What does this role involve? You’ll be central to our mission of making solar energy both accessible and affordable. Working within a dynamic team, you’ll help customers confidently transition to cleaner energy by providing expert advice, personalised support, and a seamless experience throughout their solar journey. Educate & Inspire: Advise potential customers on the benefits of solar energy and our flexible payment options, including finance. Support: Supporting our sales team by processing all incoming leads, via social media and other various platforms, and moving the leads forward to our dedicated Home Energy Consultants (HEC) Customer Coordination: Schedule surveys and installations efficiently to ensure a smooth and timely customer journey. Payment Handling: Confidently promote and process various payment methods, ensuring clarity and ease for the customer. Compliance Champion: Adhere to all regulatory and internal compliance standards throughout the customer journey. Complaint Resolution: Manage customer complaints independently, following our process and meeting service level agreements. Relationship Building: Be a trusted point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service and building lasting relationships. Collaborative Working: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, ideally with experience in sales, energy, or renewable roles. You will be confident managing multiple tasks independently and comfortable discussing finance and payment options with our customers.
