You’ll bring clarity, direction and structure - not micromanagement - and help the team deliver high-quality software across a varied project landscape. You don’t need to be hands-on coding, but you do need a solid understanding of how software is built. SQL knowledge is a real advantage too, as many of their applications are data-driven.You’ll be leading a team of nine developers and DBA's, mainly mid-level and junior, supported by a couple of seniors. They work across a large suite of applications and databases, covering everything from maintaining existing systems to new feature development and greenfield builds. The core tech stack includes Java, Glassfish and Oracle, with the data team focused on Oracle (SQL) and OCI.
