Health & Safety & Compliance Deliver monthly soft services H&S checks and risk assessments with the Facilities Manager.Ensure safe working practices across the team in line with school policies.Complete all mandatory and statutory training.Support the creation and review of departmental risk assessments. Work closely with the Facilities Manager and wider departments to ensure smooth delivery of setups, cleaning, waste and porterage.Flag delays or issues promptly so tasks can be rescheduled or escalated.Support small internal projects, including room moves and reconfigurations.Provide weekly updates on completed work, outstanding tasks and priorities. General Responsibilities Adapt working hours and duties to meet operational needs across the school.Coordinate leave and working time to ensure continuous cover.Monitor contractors delivering soft services and report performance concerns.Proactively suggest service improvements and more efficient working practices. Person Specification Essential Strong experience in soft FM (cleaning, porterage, setups, general support).Proven staff supervision or line-management experience.Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.Experience delivering against KPIs and SLAs.Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.Skilled at working with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.Solid understanding of H&S practices and basic compliance knowledge (e.g., COSHH, manual handling).Commitment to ongoing professional development. Desirable Experience in a school or similar environment.Knowledge of soft FM compliance processes and risk assessments.<l
