About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join a school department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a stimulating curriculum across various Social Science disciplines, fostering a love for learning, and preparing students for both academic success and active participation in society.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in subjects like History, Geography, Economics, and/or Political Science for students at various grade levels.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their development.
- Contribute to the development and review of the departmental curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, challenging, and meets required educational standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and challenging classroom environment that encourages student inquiry, debate, and critical thought.
- Participate in school-wide professional development activities, departmental meetings, and extracurricular programs.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and support the overall goals of the school.
What We're Looking For:
- A relevant degree in a Social Science field and a recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Social Sciences at the secondary level (or equivalent).
- Exceptional subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the Social Sciences.
- The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- A commitment to innovative teaching methodologies and integrating technology effectively in the classroom.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to contribute actively to the wider life of the school community.
