For over 36 years, we have supported families facing homelessness, relationship breakdowns and other challenges, helping them build safe and stable futures. Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support staff in creating, editing and scheduling social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Assist with monitoring engagement, responding to comments and signposting enquiries appropriately.
  • Help increase online presence and promote brand awareness.
  • Help promote fundraising campaigns, events, vacancies and key messages to increase reach and visibility.
  • Work with staff to develop ideas for creative posts, including photos, videos and graphics.
  • Ensure all online activity reflects the values, voice and professionalism of The Roberts Centre.
  • Keep accurate records of social media activity and engagement metrics, where required.
  • Uphold safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality standards in all online activities in line with organisation policies.
  • Represent The Roberts Centre positively and respectfully when interacting in digital spaces.
  • Participate in relevant training provided by The Roberts Centre, including safeguarding and health and safety.


Who We’re Looking For:

  • Understanding of social media platforms and how they are used for engagement.
  • Awareness of The Roberts Centre’s work and objectives (desirable).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking and ability to contribute with new ideas.
  • Ability to represent The Roberts Centre positively and professionally.
  • Basic skills in photography, video or graphic design (desirable).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Personable, friendly, enthusiastic and approachable.
  • Respectful of confidential and sensitive information.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing.
  • Willingness to learn and attend training as needed.
