About
Overview: We’re RoleDrop — a new job platform built for UK university students and recent graduates, with a focus on tech and finance careers. We’re currently in a pre-launch phase, and things haven’t gone to plan. We hired a social media manager previously, but the content and execution didn’t land. We've now brought in a strong designer who's helping revamp the visual content — but we urgently need a social media strategist to take control of the launch planning, post strategy, and content rollout. This is where you come in. 🔧 What We Need Help With: Review our current 16 draft content pieces (mix of static & short-form video) Plan and structure a 4–6 week rollout for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn Guide post sequencing, timing, and messaging strategy Help us fix the confusion around content categories and scheduling Suggest hooks, captions, hashtags (or fix what's written) Recommend tactics for engagement, audience growth, and community building Set us up with a clear system going forward (Notion, Trello, etc.) 🤝 You’ll Be Working With: Our designer (who will handle visuals) The founders (you’ll get context + fast feedback) An already defined list of posts and ideas — just lacking structure and polish 🧠 Who We're Looking For: You’re a social strategist with experience launching early-stage brands You know how to speak to Gen Z audiences You’ve worked across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn You bring calm, clarity, and structure to messy early-stage launches Bonus if you understand student job markets, or have launched an app/platform before ⏳ Urgency: We’re launching soon and this is a priority. Looking for someone to start immediately, ideally with deliverables in week one.
