Job Title: Social Media Specialist (Freelance, Full-Time Potential) About Us: We are an established virtual assistance company based in the Philippines, supporting business owners and leaders globally. We are expanding our internal team and are looking for a dependable Social Media Specialist who can handle content creation, post scheduling, and real-time chat responses. We strongly prefer Filipino talents from Cagayan de Oro and nearby locations, and we are also considering applicants from Davao, Cebu, and surrounding areas. Role Overview: This is a freelance position with the potential to transition into a full-time internal role after 3 to 6 months, depending on performance. The ideal candidate is consistent, creative, organized, and able to manage daily social media operations with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: • Create social media content based on provided guidelines and brand messaging • Schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms • Respond to chats and inquiries from leads in real time or within agreed response windows • Maintain and organize content calendars • Coordinate with the internal team for content plans, updates, and approvals • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all content • Experience with running social media ad campaigns is a strong advantage and may help with shortlisting (preferred but not required) Requirements: • Proven experience in social media content creation and scheduling • Strong writing skills in English • Ability to respond promptly and professionally to chats and inquiries • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks • Experience using any social media scheduling or management tools • Reliable internet connection • Preferably based in Cagayan de Oro or nearby areas; also open to applicants from Davao, Cebu, and surrounding regions Work Setup: • Work-from-home • Flexible communication schedules • Collaborative internal environment with regular check-ins Compensation & Benefits (upon full-time transition) • Competitive compensation package • HMO/healthcare coverage (Maxicare) • Company activities including team buildings, virtual events, and internal community programs • Training and development opportunities • Additional internal employee benefits Initial Engagement: • Freelance contract • Performance evaluation after 3 to 6 months • Strong potential for full-time internal placement with full benefits How to Apply: Please submit the following: 1.
