We are looking for a backend developer experienced in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB for a small hourly-based trial task. This job will be short (around 3 hours of work) to test collaboration and code quality. Task Scope (Trial): Setup a simple Node.js + Express.js project Implement basic REST API with one CRUD resource (e.g., tasks or users) Add JWT-based authentication (register/login + protect routes) Provide Postman collection + clear README (how to run locally) Requirements: Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js & MongoDB Experience with JWT authentication Clean, well-documented code Ability to deliver within a few hours Budget & Timeline: Hourly rate: $3/hr Expected hours: ~3 hours (total around $9) Delivery within 1–2 days Future work: If the trial goes well, we will assign larger backend tasks such as integrating payment gateways, building real-time features (Socket.io), and deploying to AWS/Heroku/Vercel.
