  • Global Payments Solutions (GPS) strategy requires its people to develop and perform at their best, in order to become the world’s best transactional bank. As a result, it is investing in closing skills gaps with high impact knowledge sharing, changing cultures and ways of working in order to deliver sales performance objectives and wider organisational change. In addition, GPS is developing client training experiences to support key clients, deepen relationships and brand loyalty and, consequently, grow revenue. As a result, a global Sales Enablement team has been established within the Global Business Management function.
  • We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Skills and Training Coach, Global Business Management. The base location for this role is London.
  • This role reports to the Head of Sales Enablement within the Business Management function and is expected to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across various business areas within the Bank as well our clients.

In this role, you will

  • Engage stakeholders (including ExCo level) to establish need and messages
  • Identify skills gaps and work with key stakeholders to establish business skills needs.
  • Design, build, pilot and roll out high impact live classroom sessions that develop skills and enable GPS colleagues to deliver the strategy.
  • Deliver live classroom sessions and events to key clients, supporting deeper relationships and driving revenue.
  • Support business functions as they develop live sessions to address emerging technical knowledge sharing, learn from identified lessons and continually develop technical knowledge of their teams.
  • Be prepared to support the wider ‘People Agenda’ across an area of responsibility.
  • Support the tracking of benefits of skills development sessions and wider management information.
  • Support the creation of video content to build more local topics and nuances for an area of responsibility. These will help develop the Payments Navigator library of knowledge and grow content consumption by making specific and relevant to colleagues across the globe.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements

  • Ability to plan, create and deliver engaging and motivating training sessions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and external counterparties.
  • Ability to manager and influence a diverse group of stakeholders and management, and demonstrate strong collaboration skills across the organization
  • A successful track record of delivering projects, utilising appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success
  • Able to work with a considerable degree of self-motivation, proactiveness, autonomy and pace on high priority deliverables
