We are currently recruiting for a Site Maintenance Assistant to work for a company who are based on the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard . Please note, you MUST have a driving licence and car available for this role .Working Hours: 08:00am-17:00pm, Monday to Friday . There may be a requirement to work on the security gate, therefore, flexibility on the working hours is required.Location: Leighton Buzzard, and FULLY site based. Due to location, transport is required .Contract Type: Perm. Start Date: ASAP.Duties will include, but not limited to: General site maintenance, for example cement work.Painting, internal and external.Occasional travel off site to collect materials.Using hand tools to repair internal and external items.Gardening, which include strimming etc. Please note, this will be required during all weathers.Changing fixtures and fittings, such as light bulbs, locks, etc.Preparing workspaces.Repair faulty equipment and components or schedule repairs if a specialist is needed.General D.I.Y.Trade skills would be ideal.Skills Required: Full UK Driving licence.Knowledge of using hand-tools.Ability to handle general D.I.Y duties.Trade skills would be ideal, but not essential.Strong customer service skills.
