Site Engineer – Taunton / M5 Corridor up to BristolGroundworks & Civil EngineeringFull-time £45,000 - £55,000 + BenefitsRGB Recruitment is excited to be working with a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to join their team.This role will see you supporting projects along the M5 corridor – from Taunton through to Bristol – playing a key part in the successful delivery of schemes across the region.About the RoleAs a Site Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring works are set out accurately and completed to specification. Working closely with project teams, you’ll provide technical support on site, helping to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities: Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads and external worksLiaising with project teams, site managers and subcontractorsChecking drawings, plans and quantitiesProducing as-built records and maintaining accurate site dataPromoting and upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Site Engineer within groundworks or civil engineeringProficiency with robotic total stations and setting out equipmentStrong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detailGood communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively Desirable: Familiarity with Trimble equipment and software What’s on Offer Competitive salary Company vehicle or car allowancePension and holiday packageSupportive and professional working environmentOpportunities for training and career prog
