About the Brand b. is a premium men’s haircare brand created by Boss Barbering — a network of award-winning barbershops based in Bournemouth. Born in the barbershop, our products are designed for modern men who value style, quality, and simplicity. The brand aesthetic is minimalist, refined, and professional — black packaging, clean typography, and understated luxury. We’re launching our online presence and are looking for a talented Shopify Website Designer to bring our digital store to life. ⸻ Role Overview We’re looking for a creative and detail-driven designer to build and design our Shopify website from the ground up. The ideal candidate will combine strong e-commerce UX/UI skills with an understanding of premium brand presentation — ensuring our site looks high-end, feels effortless to navigate, and converts visitors into loyal customers. ⸻ Responsibilities • Design and build a complete Shopify e-commerce website for b. • Translate our existing branding and product visuals into a luxury online experience. • Structure the site for clear storytelling and conversion — pages to include: Home, Shop, About, The Routine, Contact, and Stockists. • Set up product pages, categories (Cleanse / Style / Finish), and checkout flow. • Ensure the site is mobile-responsive and fast. • Integrate payment systems, delivery options, and email sign-up forms. • Collaborate on launch visuals, product photography placement, and copy formatting. • Optimize SEO and analytics setup (Google, Meta Pixel, etc.). • Provide post-launch support and minor revisions. ⸻ Requirements • Proven experience designing Shopify websites (portfolio required). • Understanding of luxury or lifestyle brand design — minimalist, modern, and visual storytelling focused. • Strong skills in Shopify themes, Liquid, and custom styling (HTML/CSS). • Experience with Shopify apps for bundling, subscriptions, or reviews is a plus. • Excellent eye for layout, typography, and detail. • Ability to work independently with creative direction. • Familiarity with image optimization and SEO best practices. ⸻ Nice to Have • Experience with men’s grooming, beauty, or lifestyle e-commerce. • Copy/layout sense for brand storytelling. • Basic photo/video editing skills for product imagery. ⸻ What We Offer • Opportunity to define the online identity of a growing luxury brand. • Creative freedom with a clear brand vision. • Remote or local collaboration (Bournemouth-based brand). • Competitive project-based or hourly pay (depending on experience).
