You can be based out of either the Adlington or Sunderland office with travel to sites as required.The SHEQ Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (SHEQ) management systems are effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously improved within the organisation. This role ensures compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and company policies while promoting a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and quality excellence. You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.Key Responsibilities• Drive continuous improvement of SHEQ management systems and ensure compliance across the organisation.• Lead incident reporting processes, investigations, root-cause analysis, and follow-up corrective actions.• Monitor and report on operational KPIs, man hours, and SHEQ performance data for internal governance.• Support annual ESG reporting and communicate SHEQ learnings to promote best practice.• Conduct supplier and tender reviews, lead quality-based inspections, and expedite suppl
