We're looking for a Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor (SHE Advisor) to join our Construction team.



Location: Waterbeach, Cambridge

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

Qualification: Ideally CMIOSH or working towards accreditation.



We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

What will you be responsible for?

As a SHE Advisor you'll be reporting to Senior HS&W Manager and working within the Construction team, supporting them in providing specialist Health, Safety & Welfare advice for Construction Sites,

Your day to day will include:

-Carry out regular audits, inspections and visits to identify safe and unsafe on-site working conditions and practices. Report on findings of such inspections and make recommendations to remedy any defects found using Kier software systems.

-Carry out SHE tasks that are required to maintain Kier Group SHE policies and procedures as directed by the Snr HS&W Manager.

-Promote, fully participate and assist delivery in the implementation of the Kier Behavioural Safety Programme; Think Safety Differently.

-Advise on the practical implementation of CDM, Safe Systems of Work, Construction Phase Plans, Environmental Management Plans and Wellbeing strategies.

-Compile accident reports for reportable accidents and provide recommendations to prevent reoccurrence. Send reports to the Snr HS&W Manager and Project Director/Manager and ensure recommendations are actioned in a timely manner.
