Do you pride yourself on providing world class service? If you’re a self-motivated team player who is organised with exceptional attention to detail, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. At AXA Health, we’re looking for a Service Support Advisor to be key in supporting the strategy for growth and development of our existing intermediaries.
You’ll enhance our SME clients, intermediaries and internal customers’ experience of the services we offer, in connection with producing quotations for both intermediary and direct customers, and by undertaking the onboarding of new group schemes

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. After your initial office-based training period, you'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home in our Leicester office, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Produce quotations for group schemes via quote requests from brokers and from direct new business.
  • Obtaining missing information or gaining clarity prior to processing a request.
  • Be the first point of contact for all internal customers.
  • Answer queries in relation to new group set up.
  • Work within FCA guidelines and follow Data Protection.
  • Adhere to team SLAs and productivity targets.

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.

What you’ll bring:

  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Able to prioritise own workload.
  • Well organised and able to manage own time effectively.
  • Previous experience of working in a service environment is desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience of working to deadlines, productivity and quality targets is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of our products and propositions is desirable.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.

What we offer:

At AXA UK, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that. You can expect to receive:

  • Competitive annual salary of up to £24,665 dependent on experience
  • Annual company & performance-based bonus
  • Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions)
  • Life Assurance (up to 10 x annual salary)
  • Private medical cover
