The RoleA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated Service Manager to lead a key community-focused service supporting caregivers of all ages across Gateshead. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the service runs effectively, meets its objectives, and maintains the highest standards of delivery.Working alongside regional leads and supported by Team Leaders, you will oversee day-to-day operations, staff, systems, and processes to ensure service users receive the very best support.Key Responsibilities Lead the operational delivery of a busy support service for children and adult caregiversEnsure high-quality service delivery and adherence to agreed standardsManage service performance, workloads, priorities, and overall operational efficiencyBuild strong working relationships with partners, commissioners, and internal teamsProvide direction, guidance, and leadership to staff across geographically spread teamsContribute to strategic planning and service developmentIdentify funding opportunities and work within budgetary constraintsEnsure safeguarding concerns are appropriately identified and acted upon The PersonAbout YouYou will bring strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to guide and inspire others.
