About
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- * Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or
- a related field.
- * 6 years of experience in product design or UX, developing or prototyping on
- Android or iOS.
- * Motion design experience related to physics, patterns, and visual design
- elements.
- * Experience in UI development for apps or operating systems (System UI).
- * Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with
- technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user
- interface mockups and prototypes.
- * Include a portfolio or a link to your work in visual design on your resume
- (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- * Experience in prototyping and user research.
- * Experience working within and contributing to design systems, as well as
- building accessible products.
- * Experience in interaction design, and product thinking, with excellent visual
- design skills.
- * Ability to articulate compelling stories and design decisions.
- * Ability to design products, prototypes, and demonstrate advanced design
- skills, including high quality deliverables and processes.
- * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present a clear design
- rationale.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- * Test concepts for iteration, research, and validation. Conceive and deliver
- innovative and engaging prototypes. Drive explorations of experiences across
- a portfolio of features and products.
- * Partner with executive members of the team, promote standards, and integrate
- changes into guidelines. Collaborate effectively across teams. Contribute to
- key projects, ensuring a holistic systems-thinking approach and advocating
- for user needs across platforms and applications. Foster a system-wide design
- mindset within the team.
- * Identify emerging needs, develop interaction design best practices, and
- contribute to pattern documentation.
- * Partner strategically with engineering, product, and Search Foundations.
