The OpportunityWe're looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to manage tax accounting and reporting activities for QBE's European Operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency of underlying data and corporate tax compliance. This role will focus solely on Corporate Tax and support all direct tax affairs across the UK and Europe. Your New RoleYou'll report to the Tax Compliance Lead and work closely with internal and external stakeholders. Main responsibilities: Advise internal stakeholders on tax implications to inform business planning and decision-making.Align service delivery with the Finance business plan and contribute to team strategy.Liaise with tax authorities to manage disputes, tax recovery and audit resolution.Monitor tax legislation and communicate implications to ensure compliance.Refine processes and systems to improve efficiency of tax accounting activities.Prov
